Union Street Media is a web design and development company based in Burlington,
Vermont which sells web sites and technology to businesses and statewide organizations.
Their core content management system, web server
architecture, and all technical aspects of their web presence was
designed and built
by
ioflux. Their content management system leverages the eZ publish 2.2 architecture which enabled them to launch a suite of
dozens of college web sites in mid-2001.
ioflux deployed and developed all aspects of their technology needs

backup systems
maintenance
DNS and mail management
custom modules, and
support of all code-related aspects of their systems.
Their core business of building, selling, and managing realtor real estate web sites leverages many aspects of code developed 100% by ioflux, including:
Automatic FTP retrieval and import of MLS data and images on a daily basis
Custom Template interface to automate and customize listings
Notification engine to automatically save searches from visitors and notify them when new listings changed or were updated in the MLS
Extensible listings to support migration of "realtor-only" listings to be stored and displayed only on realtor's site
All aspects of the USM content management system is available via
an extensible web-based administration interface with varying permission
levels for staff, business owners, customers, and site members.
