
Kent Davidson founded ioflux, inc. in June of 2001 as a software consulting and software development business, and heads the company's product and consulting efforts today.
Kent started his career at Apple Computer, Inc. in the System Software group and then moved onto the Advanced Technology Group, developing software and hardware products in the 3D graphics space.
After Apple, he founded Differential, Inc. in 1996 with partner David Jevans selling security software to the banking and insurance industries. Kent was proud of the fact that Differential had customers and revenues ($0.5M) prior to receiving $3.5M venture funding from US Venture Partners. Kent acted as the Vice President of Engineering, managed a team of over 20 employees, and was responsible for all of the company's technology, software, and technical sales. He successfully transitioned the company through its merger with Valicert, Inc. (NASDAQ: VLCT) in December 1999. Most recently, the company merged with Tumbleweed, Inc. (NASDAQ: TMWD)
Kent prides himself on his ability to make swift and fair decisions, his ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers and partners, and his computer engineering and architecture skills.
Kent graduated with a double major in Computer Science and Engineering from Dartmouth College, is 34 years of age and lives in Media, Pennsylvania with his wife and three children.
